MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger is designed to connect seamlessly to a PV array with a voltage range of 150 or 250 Volts Voc. It automatically detects and charges battery banks of 12, 24, or 48V, with a current range of 70 to 100A, depending on the specific model. The charge settings are fully customizable, allowing you to optimize charging for different battery chemistries such as lead-acid, lithium, and more.
Control Your Charger Remotely
With the MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger, you have the convenience of remote control and configuration via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect App. This enables easy device setup, management, and access to vital information at a glance, including battery voltage, current, PV voltage, current, and historical data.
Daisy Chain Additional Units
Equipped with CAN bus ports, the VE.Can SmartSolar charger enables communication with additional VE.Can SmartSolar chargers. These units can be effortlessly connected in a “daisy chain” configuration using a single RJ45 cable between each unit. By linking them together, all the individual VE.Can SmartSolar chargers synchronize their charge stages and can transmit their data through a single cable to a GX monitoring device.
Remote Monitoring and Control
When your GX device is connected to the internet, you can harness the power of the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) to remotely monitor and control your solar charger(s). This online portal provides convenient access to your charger’s full capabilities from anywhere.
SmartSolar Control Display
The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is also equipped with a VE.Direct port, similar to our other MPPT solar chargers. This port serves for single unit monitoring or streetlight control. Additionally, the remote on/off connector can be externally controlled by a third-party device, such as a lithium battery. For real-time data, setup, and management, you have the option of adding a plug-in LCD display/control, which provides immediate access to vital information right from the front of the device.
