Solar Charge Controller

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger is a state-of-the-art solution that efficiently converts solar energy into optimal charging power for battery banks. Utilizing the latest and fastest technology, this charge controller can even recharge severely depleted batteries. It is designed to operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts, as long as the cells are not permanently damaged.

MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking

The MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger is compatible with PV arrays with a voltage of 150 or 250 Volts Voc. It automatically detects and charges battery banks of 12, 24, or 48 volts with a current range of 70 to 100A, depending on the model. The charge settings are fully programmable and can be customized for different battery chemistries, such as lead-acid, lithium, and more.

Remote Charger Control

Take control of your charger remotely with the MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger. Through Bluetooth connectivity and the VictronConnect App, you can easily configure and manage the device. Access real-time information, including battery voltage, current, PV voltage, current, and historical data.

Expandable with Daisy Chain

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger features CAN bus ports, enabling communication with additional VE.Can SmartSolar chargers. These units can be conveniently “daisy chained” together using a single RJ45 cable. When connected, the chargers synchronize their charge stages and transmit data via a single cable to a GX monitoring device.

Remote Monitoring and Control

When connected to the internet, the GX device provides access to the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM). This portal allows you to monitor and control your solar charger(s) remotely, harnessing the full power of your system.

SmartSolar Control Display

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is equipped with a VE.Direct port, similar to our other MPPT solar chargers. This port enables single-unit monitoring or streetlight control. Additionally, the remote on/off connector can be controlled by external devices such as lithium batteries. For convenient on-device access to live data, setup, and management, an optional plug-in LCD display/control is available.
