If your installation is connected to the internet, you can also utilize the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) to unlock the full potential of your MPPT charger, anywhere and anytime. Both VictronConnect and VRM services are free to use. Even in remote installations without internet or phone signal, you may have the option to monitor your MPPT by Bluetooth-pairing it with a LoRaWAN device, which offers long-range wide area network connectivity (optional feature).
Load Output
The intelligent Load Output function of SmartSolar protects your batteries from damage caused by excessive discharge. You can configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects a load, preventing any further drain on your batteries. Here’s the clever part: SmartSolar makes daily attempts to achieve a 100% recharge. In case of poor weather conditions, it raises the disconnect voltage incrementally each day until successful. This unique feature, called BatteryLife, ensures the health and longevity of your battery.
