Two AC Inputs & two AC Outputs:
The Victron Quattro offers the convenience of connecting to two independent AC sources, such as shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. With its automatic source selection feature, the Quattro will seamlessly connect to the active source, ensuring a reliable power supply. The main output of the Quattro provides a no-break functionality, enabling it to take over the supply to connected loads in the event of a grid failure or disconnection of shore or generator power. This transition is so swift (less than 20 milliseconds) that sensitive electronic equipment, like computers, can continue to operate without any disruption. The second output is active only when AC power is available on one of the inputs, allowing for the connection of specific loads like air-conditioning or a water heater that should not discharge the battery.
Unique PowerAssist feature:
With its unique PowerAssist feature, the Quattro actively prevents overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. It accomplishes this by automatically reducing battery charging when an overload is imminent. If the load demand exceeds the capacity of the AC source, the Quattro will boost the output by utilizing power from the battery, ensuring a continuous and stable power supply.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation:
The Quattro offers virtually unlimited power scalability by supporting parallel operation. Up to six Quattros can be connected in parallel, enabling higher power output when needed. Additionally, the Quattro supports three-phase or split-phase operation, providing further flexibility to meet diverse power requirements. For specific information about paralleling, three-phase, and split-phase capabilities, please refer to the product datasheets.
Remote Monitoring and Control:
By integrating the Quattro with a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, you gain the ability to monitor and control your Quattro and associated systems. This can be done locally through LAN connectivity or remotely over the internet using the free VRM app and VRM portal website. Whether you’re using a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC, the comprehensive control options allow you to adjust Quattro settings, automate backup generator activation, and more. Enjoy seamless control and monitoring of your power system from anywhere in the world.
