PowerAssist Feature:
The PowerAssist feature of the MultiPlus ensures the protection of a limited AC power source, such as a generator or shore power connection. It operates in two levels to prevent overload situations. Firstly, it automatically reduces battery charging when an overload is detected. Secondly, if the load demand exceeds the available AC power, the MultiPlus boosts the output by utilizing power from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS function):
In the event of a grid failure or disconnection from shore or generator power, the MultiPlus acts as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). It swiftly activates the inverter within the MultiPlus, seamlessly taking over the power supply to connected loads. The transfer is so rapid (less than 20 milliseconds) that sensitive electronic devices like computers can continue to operate without any disruption.
Parallel Operation for Enhanced Power:
To achieve higher power output, the MultiPlus supports parallel operation with up to six units. This allows for increased power capacity and can be utilized in three-phase or split-phase configurations. For specific details on models with paralleling, three-phase, and split-phase capabilities, please refer to the datasheets.
Remote Monitoring and Control:
When combined with a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, the MultiPlus enables convenient monitoring and control of your system. Whether you are located locally (LAN) or remotely via the internet, the free VRM app and VRM portal website offer comprehensive access from various devices like phones, tablets, laptops, or PCs. This level of control empowers you to make adjustments to your MultiPlus and even automate tasks like initiating backup generator startup, providing you with flexibility and peace of mind.
